Closing Ceremonies!

Unlike other conventions that you don’t want to it to end, all attendees and staff were happy to say goodbye to Baltiport 2010. Make the best out of a difficult situation, you’ll never know what will happen!

Commenter Jamie Diamond spent time to document all the Baltiport 2010 taglines written by Con Chair Lance Heiskell while he replied to all the FUNimation questions. Thanks Jamie.

Here we go:

-No in-flight movies…. but we are having an AMV Screening on the laptop row 24.

-32,000 feet up in the air and no con memes or fanboy funk!

-…wishes he had a FUNimation series to announce at the con…

-…Autograph session was closed due to “Fasten Seat Belt” sign.
No congregating in the halls do to turbulence. (sad face)

-(whew! No Man-Fey sightings)

-Attention Attendees:
Caramelldansen has started from Rows 3 to 20.

-Masquerade is situated in the exit row 8 hall. No skits this year, only hallway costume design judging.

-Replacement badges will cost $20s and we will take your blanket and pillow.

-Video gaming is now open on row 18. Mario Cart and Pict-o-chat are available.

-Vuvuzela ban is in effect for the duration of this convention.

-I just got glomped. Ewww.

-The person next to me is snoring. I know I can be a little dry on panels sometimes, but that’s just rude.

-The Baltiport Rave is about to start in First Class. DJ Scratch-n-sniff is in da house!!!

-Where is Hard Gay when you need him?

-Artist Alley has stopped taking commissions.

-About to land. Dead dog party will commence in baggage claim 8.

-The line to the bathroom is as long the reg line.

-The Manga Library has now closed. Please go to your nearest Borders to read and block the aisles.

-Where registration is free but your first checked baggage costs 25 dollars.

-The first con where you don’t want to pre-reg.

Baltiport 2010 – Flight 1719 Wifi Q&A Session

The plane is go for launch! Let the Q and A begin.

Located at seat 12A with a laptop and a beverage, Con Chair and FUNimation Marketing Director answers a multitude of questions on the Baltiport forum thread on AnimeNewsNework.com. (not pictured was Robert Napton was located in row 21 answering Bandai questions.)

Landed but not home. Morning layover for Robert and a local visit for Gia.

Baltiport 2010 – Hour 4 Photo Journal

30 minutes to board and Mokona is still enjoying the Manga Library. Sadly, we only have 2 volumes. We'll have to expand the library more next year.

Baltiport 2010 – Hour 3 Photo Journal

Due to the 4 hour time convention time-frame, commisions from Artist Alley had to be capped this year.

ANN's Gia Manry tries to get FUNimation Marketing Director and Baltiport Con Chair, Lance Heiskell to admit that Baltiport is in talks to move the convention to Dulles International.

Diana from AnimePop (see online store link to the right) creates the first commisioned promotional art for Baltiport.
